John helped us find a great townhouse in Southern Magnolia. Given that we were first-time buyers, he took his time with us and always assisted us during our tours. I found him to be a great resource providing good insights about the house and clarifying any questions we had but at the same time didn't push us or sell us the house rather just gave us information to help us understand if that house made sense for us. Given the competitive market, we went through some offers but he always advised us to stay competitive but not too aggressive. We eventually found the house we were looking for and we were able to close before the offer review date. The biggest help john provided was when we found a different lender that offered a lower interest date, john was able to extend the closing date without any issues. I am incredibly glad I chose john to be my real estate agent - one of my favorite things about working with him is that he's genuine. When we viewed houses, he made sure to give me his honest opinion on what he thought of the place. A few times he actually pointed out negatives that I hadn't even considered or thought of as a first-time home buyer. My parents, who'd worked with multiple before as well, were impressed with his honesty and mentioned he was the best agent they'd ever worked with.
